No more chlorine fumes, and much more managebale hair! Skins feels great, too! Jun 17, 2010

Easy to install, and to replace cartridge annually.
Water feels invigorating, too!
I have been using the Rainshow'r product for almost 10 years now, changing out the filter once a year--and I can tell when it is time to replace the cartridge, my curly hair starts to become more unruly! I even installed one at a boyfriend's house because prolonged visits resulted in diminished manageability of my hair. Same for long vacations.
This really speaks to how damaging chlorine is to hair. It's also nice to not be breathing in chlorine fumes during a shower!!
Highly recommend for people with chemical sensitives or naturally curly hair! You just won't believe the difference--even my hairdresser could tell!!

Filter does good job. Feb 13, 2011

The filter itself is very nice. I didnt like the way the shower head sprayed out water. My old shower head fit perfectly on the filter. Shower pressure is great, just as before. Very good reviews for this item on its effectiveness for removing chlorine and other chemicals.

OK for the price - There are better options Feb 02, 2011
By Joseph L. B. I used this filter for over a year. For the price, it's not bad. If you're looking for an inexpensive solution to chlorine in your shower water, it's an okay choice. A better choice is the Aquasana AQ-4100 Deluxe Shower Water Filter System with Adjustable Showerhead, which combines the Rainshower's same KDF technology with a granulated carbon section for added purification. It doesn't cost much more, and the shower water is improved significantly. But for those looking for the absolute best shower around, get the Ewater Revitalizing Shower Filter. I've owned most of the main shower filters on the market, including this Rainshower, the Aquasana shower filter, the late Wellness Shower, and now the Ewater Revitalizing shower filter. I can tell you nothing comes close to the Ewater's softness and purity...it's simply far beyond any other shower filter on the market. But not everyone has $189 to spend on their showers. Any of these filters will improve your shower water; it's simply a question of just how much improvement you want.
