Loved it! Dec 31, 2007
By C. Dula This is the first dechlorination device I have ever tried and I absolutely loved it. Highly recommend. I live in Texas, water is hard and heavily chlorinated, so much so that it bleaches the wooden fence when hit by the lawn sprinklers....but my first shower was heavenly...my skin and my hair loved it!!!

Chlorine gone! Nov 16, 2010
By dsl Not only could I tell the smell was gone right away but the water "felt" different. My hair didn't even have to have conditioner after washing.

Filter out the harmful chlorine -- which really helps unruly hair! Jun 17, 2010

I have been using the Rainshow'r product for almost 10 years now, changing out the filter once a year--and I can tell when it is time to replace the cartridge, my curly hair starts to become more unruly! I even installed one at a boyfriend's house because prolonged visits resulted in diminished manageability of my hair. Same for long vacations.
This really speaks to how damaging chlorine is to hair. It's also nice to not be breathing in chlorine fumes during a shower!!
Highly recommend for people with chemical sensitives or naturally curly hair! You just won't believe the difference--even my hairdresser could tell!!

Nice shower water filter, long lasting Jul 12, 2011
By C. Snyder Appears to remove the chlorine and other stuff from the water in my shower and lasts a long time. The filters can be replaced. Has held up well. Highly recommended.

Copper Flakes Oct 16, 2010
By Think Fast The model I received (CQ-1000NH) is copper based, which is fine, but after cleaning and first use the filter housing is littered with flakes of copper. I'm not sure which is worse, flakes of copper in my water or chlorine.
