Blueair 200 Series Carbon Replacement Filter - Blueair 200SCF. Blueair recommends changing these replacement air filters every 6 months. The replacement includes 1 particle filter that removes dust, pollen, bacteria, pet dander, mold spores and other airborne particles as well as gaseous pollutants such as Cigarette smoke or VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds). The particle filter is made of polypropylene, which mechanically filters out airborne particles. To maximize filter effectiveness, particles are negatively charged before reaching the filters.
